On the first night of our 4th Anniversary services we showed a video on the Rapture. It was well attended.
|
The next night we had services in our present building.
|
As the services began the church began to fill to standing room only!
|
Young and old took part in the worship service. The young kids sang a beautiful song.
|
Several men of our church brought a special. We were very glad to see them step up and do a great job.

Members of Ancla Baptist Church, Bro. Shane Rice's first work, came to bring a beautiful special. Sorry the picture didn't include the men's side. They all did a great job.

Classes were held upstairs for the younger ones.

National pastor José Zamora brought a good encouraging message to a packed church.

After the services we celebrated the birthday of our church with a delicious and beautiful cake.

... The lights were turned out and we all blew out the candles to celebrate 4 yrs together. It was a beautiful night.

Early on Sunday morning the ladies did the preparation for the lunch we were to cook and all would share later.
|
Our Sunday service was held in the shell of the new building. It was great to have the extra space. We can't wait to complete construction and move in!

The young ones had their classes in the present sanctuary of the original bldg.

There were well over 100 people who came to the Sunday service. The camera could not capture them all.

We also had special Christian music using Peruvian native instruments like the pan flute and a cane flute.

The youth also did a skit on how sin can hold you down if you yield to its temptation.

The ladies used our construction shed as a makeshift prep area to serve the food.

It was such a blessing to use the shell of the new building. There was plenty of room for all!

Carla and I finally got to sit down and enjoy the meal. It was great to see the fruits of our labor of 4 great years. God has truly blessed!
